Responsibility begins with people. At Omni, we focus that influence on the communities we invest in and on rewilding efforts, an approach to restoring natural systems and supporting the people who live alongside them.

  • Wildlife protection focuses on preserving species and the habitats they depend on. This includes safeguarding threatened and endangered animals, supporting rehabilitation and recovery efforts, and protecting ecosystems that allow wildlife populations to stabilize and grow over time.

  • Forest and landscape restoration rebuilds degraded ecosystems by restoring native vegetation, improving biodiversity, and strengthening the resilience of natural landscapes. These efforts help reverse deforestation, protect watersheds, and create healthier environments that support both wildlife and surrounding communities for the long term.

  • Community support ensures that environmental restoration is sustainable. By creating economic opportunities, education, and infrastructure for local populations, communities are better positioned to protect surrounding ecosystems rather than rely on their depletion.

One Percent for the Planet is a global network of companies and individuals who commit at least one percent of annual revenue to vetted environmental organizations. Members across many industries share the belief that environmental responsibility is an essential part of operating in today’s world.

Omni contributes well above the one percent requirement because we believe private enterprise can play a meaningful role in environmental recovery.     Inti Wara Yassi is a Bolivian based organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and long term protection of wildlife affected by exploitation, illegal trade, and habitat loss. Its sanctuaries provide natural environments for animals that cannot return to the wild, and its education programs help restore surrounding ecosystems.

    The organization’s approach blends direct animal care, environmental recovery, and community involvement, making it a meaningful partner for rewilding focused initiatives.
